These are also approved by "DIBt" as overfill prevention devices for water-polluting and flammable liquids. The screw connection of the EE-21 ...F / EE-22 ...F is made of stainless steel 1.4571. The electrode rods are made of stainless steel 1.4571, Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C or tantalum. This makes the conductive electrodes EE-21F / EE-22F also suitable for use with highly aggressive media. The conductive electrodes of the EE-21F / EE-22F type series are intended for installation inside vessels whose gas space inside the vessel may be classified as Ex zone 0 (category 1).

System structure
The conductive electrodes EE-21F / EE-22F can be used in conjunction with our Ex-i electrode relays type ER-14... can be used. The type EE-21F for category 1 is to be mounted in connection with the flameproof cable bushing FK-100. If the conductive electrodes are installed on vessels which must be protected against ignition hazards caused by lightning according to TRbF 20 Section/ Chapter 12, the requirements of TRbF 20 Section/ Chapter 12 must be observed during installation. The BL-100 lightning protection device must be used.
Note: Only for connection to certified intrinsically safe circuits in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ia IIC/IIB! The EC type examination certificate TÜV 02 ATEX 1796 X must be observed!
